Our Teaching Style

Our Community Integration Training Program consists of three different components that focus on teaching independence. These components include the following teaching methodologies: volunteerism, self-advocacy, and community participation.

Volunteerism

We emphasize the value and importance of volunteerism as a means of personal growth and community engagement. Through hands-on experiences and guidance, individuals in our program have the opportunity to participate in volunteer activities that align with their interests and abilities. By giving back to the community, individuals gain a sense of purpose, develop new skills, and build a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.

Self-adovacy

We empower individuals to become self-advocates, helping them assert their rights, express their needs, and make informed decisions. Our teaching methodologies focus on developing self-confidence, effective communication skills, and self-determination. Through workshops, role-playing exercises, and personalized guidance, individuals learn to articulate their goals, seek support when needed, and navigate various aspects of their lives with increased independence and autonomy.

Community Participation

Active involvement in the community is key to promoting social integration and a sense of belonging. Our teaching methodologies encourage individuals to actively participate in community events, organizations, and activities. Through structured programs, group discussions, and practical experiences, individuals develop social skills, expand their social networks, and gain a deeper understanding of community dynamics. This fosters a greater sense of belonging, enhances social interactions, and promotes overall well-being.
